Across borders
Also across borders
The practice also works with businesses and individuals whose interests reach beyond Italy, such as foreign companies operating in Italy, foreign nationals who work or invest here, and Italians moving abroad. The principal draws on four years of work in Spain and a period of study in London.
Method
How the practice works
Four steps, the same for every new client.
The practice uses digital tools to file documents and keep track of deadlines. Professional judgement stays with the accountant.
Step 1. First meeting and documents
A meeting at the office to get to know the business, followed by a list of the documents needed.
Step 2. Review of the position
The practice goes through the books, tax returns and contracts of recent years and points out anything that needs putting right.
Step 3. Shared schedule of deadlines
The year’s deadlines go into a calendar shared with the client, with the amounts once they are known.
Step 4. Ongoing review
The position is kept up to date during the year, and any changes that affect the client are flagged well before the deadlines.
