Method

How the practice works

Each client has a single, direct point of contact, and every deadline is prepared well before it falls due.

The practice uses digital tools to file documents and keep track of deadlines. Professional judgement stays with the accountant.

  1. Step 1. First meeting and documents

A meeting at the office to get to know the business, followed by a list of the documents needed.

  2. Step 2. Review of the position

The practice goes through the books, tax returns and contracts of recent years and points out anything that needs putting right.

  3. Step 3. Shared schedule of deadlines

The year’s deadlines go into a calendar shared with the client, with the amounts once they are known.

  4. Step 4. Ongoing review

The position is kept up to date during the year, and any changes that affect the client are flagged well before the deadlines.
